Eba

Eba’s passion for hairdressing started as a natural inclination for “creation”. Creating attractive looks with her hands was part of her teenagehood and what initially begun as a creative expression became a professional path.

Eba’s path in the professional hairdressing world begun in 1999 as learner at Lluis Llongueras Academy, one of the most famous hairdressers brand in Spain, which turned out to be much more than that when she received an invitation to work for one of Llongueras’ salons while still a student.

In 2004, Eba got selected to be part of a new hairdressing salon in Santiago de Compostela (ES) and received as well an invitation by Keune Haircosmetics to work as a professional hairdresser in their shows. Around the same period Eba decided to increase her hairdressing skills further by learning from Toni & Guy in London, UK, which lead to a new collaboration with L’Oréal Professional as an advisor for their creative team. Some time after travelling around Spain with L’Oréal’s team, Eba understood that her real passion was and still is working in a street salon with everyday clients – “Making them beautiful and happy”.

In 2010, Eba moved to Amsterdam (NL), and one year later begun her work at “Oh You Pretty Things”.

Eba’s work at “Oh You Pretty Things” stands out due to her ability to listen carefully to her clients wishes and provide the much-wanted results.
Working with short or curly hair makes her feel like making a sculpture. Eba believes that a good hairdresser knows that “less is more” – cutting and shaping only what is necessary and letting the rest be.

Eba is also very detailed on her colouring work, thinking about what a client may want in the future and not only in the present moment. In combination with that, she prioritises the hairs’ health and uses soft products that guarantee long-term hair quality.

Creating natural-looking highlights is another of Eba’s skills and something many of her clients are truly thankfull for.

In Eba’s own words –  “There is nothing more enjoyable in my day than hearing a client saying “This is exactly what I wanted!” or “This is looking even better than what I expected!”.
